All sessions include full-resolution digital files with a print release, which allows you to reproduce images for personal use as many times as needed. In human speak: high-resolution is for printing, and low-resolution is for use on the internet. I recommend you order print products through me. I work with a fantastic printing lab, and each product is carefully inspected by me before delivered to you.
Every image in your gallery is color-corrected and edited. Common fixes included but are not limited to: flyaway hairs, skin smoothing and blemish removal, escaping bra straps, etc. There are few things that Iโ€™m NOT able to do in Photoshop, so just let me know if you have any special requests!
Every image is originally photographed in color, but sometimes I'll include black & white images too.
Short answer: No. Long answer: I generally shoot at least 10 times the amount of photos guaranteed for your session in order to make sure that we end up with great photos! For your final gallery of 50 images, Iโ€™ll shoot *at least* 500 frames and then narrow them down later. This way, you can be sure you donโ€™t end up with blurry shots, or photos in which everyoneโ€™s eyes are closed! ๐Ÿ˜‰
Short answer: From me. Long answer: I work with an excellent online-based consumer lab that offers professional-quality prints. After you order your files, I mail the prints straight to your home. When you receive your session flash drive, youโ€™ll find a PDF file with more detailed printing advice.. **I do not recommend printing your images at Shutterfly, Target, Walmart, CVS, or Costco. These labs are not designed to handle printing professional photography.**
Although I offer a variety of other display products (such as canvases, framed prints, and custom albums), I do not offer custom cards. However, I use and highly recommend Moo.
The albums that I offer are made entirely by a professional consumer lab, and they are pretty much the best thing ever! I love them so much that Iโ€™ve had a dozen printed for my own family. Most photo books are printed on magazine-type paper, but these album pages are made of true photographic prints that are bound together by hand. I do all of the design work, so you donโ€™t have to mess with software (although we can definitely incorporate your feedback!) My favorite part is that thereโ€™s no gap between the pages, so we can include beautiful full-spread images!

Yes! I do photography for birthday parties and extended family sessions, but my schedule is limited at this time. Send me an email with details, and we can go from there!
Iโ€™m proud to provide an experience that my clients have told me is worth every penny! You can learn more about what itโ€™s like to work with me on this page. Here are a couple more articles that do a great job of explaining the value of working with a completely custom photography studio: here and here
Short answer: No, I don't. Long answer: I believe that photography should not be a rushed experience โ€” I want you to truly enjoy our time together and leave with some amazing memories. Having your portraits done can feel nervewracking, and I find that when parents and kids have time to settle into the session and get used to the camera and me, weโ€™re able to create more authentic portraits. The difference in expressions between the beginning and end of the session is truly remarkable. For these reasons, I donโ€™t offer mini-sessions. However, I do offer special events from time to time, and the best way to find out about those is by signing up for my newsletter.
