The sky was blue without a single hint of a cloud. The grass was a vibrant green color. Somehow the white of the chairs made every outfit pop with even more color. There was a low hum of excited conversation with the occasional “Heeey!” followed by a big hug.
Music began to softly waft over the guests as each member of the bridal began to walk down the aisle. First the mothers, their arms looped tightly around one another. They smiled and chatted as if they had known each other all their lives. Which wouldn’t be far from fact since Ingrid & Jeremy have been together for over 9 years. It was finally happening.
Jeremy walked down the aisle with his hands dug into his pockets with a shy grin. His grin became wider as the guests clapped. He didn’t appear nervous; this moment has been one he’s thought of many days and many nights. There was no turning back now. As Ingrid approached the back of the aisle, you could hear a collection of gasps and Jeremy couldn’t wait any longer. He turned around…
As Ingrid made her way down the aisle, Jeremy stared deeply at her. No words. His jaw quivered. Tears streaming down his face. He saw no one else. Just her.
Ingrid, stunning in her white gown; a simple flower tucked away in her ear, her makeup glamorous and natural, held on tightly to her brother’s arm. Her smiled stretched from one end of Texas to the other end. Everything led to this very moment, the stress melted away with every step she made towards her future husband. So many words were spoken between the two of them, but neither of them said a single word. In your lifetime, you will witness a moment of true, electric and magnetic love between two people. The energy is so powerful it will make your knees weaken and your heart pound. In your lifetime, you can only hope that you’ll experience a love as powerful as that.
Jeremy and Ingrid’s love felt warm and safe. Their energy carried through the night and kept the night going. You could not help but feel honored to witness to their wedding. What a night! What a wedding!
